ABOUT
Cap’n Bo has fished the waters of Lemon Bay for over 30 years. His passion for fishing began at a very young age while fishing the lakes and rivers of Michigan, where he was born and raised.

The first time Bo’s family drove south to Clearwater Florida, he experienced the large variety and strength of saltwater fishing and was hooked for life.His passion for saltwater fishing has never faded.

As a guide, one of the many things that brings Bo joy is seeing the smiles and excitement on the faces of children and new saltwater fishermen as they reel in their catch.

Cap’n Bo is blessed by the good Lord with the gift of catching fish.He has spent hundreds of days and countless hours fishing the area.Cap’n Bo is continually modifying his techniques, attending fishing seminars and improving his skills in order to catch fish during the slow times.
BOAT & EQUIPMENT
The majority of our fishing is in-shore using 7ft rods with Cabela Salt Striker reels and light tackle. We do have some heavier rods and reels for fishing Sharks and Tarpon as well as for any offshore fishing.
We fish with a lot of live bait. Shrimp on jigs, crabs and cut bait. It all depends on the type of fishing we are doing. We also have artificial baits that are used for Sea Trout over the grass flats.

My boat is a Sea Hunt 24 ft. Triton, which has a New Suzuki 200HP Four Stroke Engine. The deep V boat allows access to the many near shore man made reefs in the area as well as the excellent fishing that Charlotte Harbor has to offer.
