Cap’n Bo makes every attempt to personalize the trip for each client. Cap’n Bo does not promote the normal ½ day or full day trip. 6-8 hours can be longer than some may want to fish, especially children. Cap’n Bo’s approach is to design the trip according to the client’s specific needs and timetable.

In-shore fishing on Lemon Bay, Gasparilla Sound and Charlotte Harbor offers an abundant amount of species, which can be caught without the fear of seasickness.  The passes and near shore reefs land is always in sight.

Cap’n Bo is a firm believer in word of mouth advertising. Therefore, a positive experience is the ultimate goal.

TRIP INFORMATION

Ages 16 – 64, MUST have a Florida fishing license

Florida residents 65 and over only need their Drivers License or I.D. with proof of residency to serve as their Fishing License.

We will discuss your expectations to determine how long you want to fish before the trip begins.  Experience has taught me that if you are catching fish and having a good time, you will want to fish well beyond the 4 hour minimum.

Tipping is not mandatory.  However, if Cap’n Bo’s fishing experience is positive and he works hard for you, then please feel free to show your appreciation the same way you would towards a good server at a restaurant.

SEASONAL FISHING

The beauty of Florida fishing is that there are always fish to catch.  We do see a change in the quantity of different species throughout the year.

“A Year of Saltwater Fishing” is an annual guide, which can be found in the annual “Waterline” insert of the “Englewood Sun”. This guide does not mention some of the so called, “less glamorous”, species that are a lot of fun to catch.  A few of these species are, Black Drum, Jack Crevelle, Lady Fish and Sail Cats.
